Where in the Bible does it say/require a believer to disarm be it spear, sword, slingshot or powder? These men should be forthright and say/make clear these are their personal feelings and not of biblical origin. Come to think about it otherwise I wonder if there were clergy who supported the 2nd Amendment- I would think so but will be interested in Graham’s and Land’s elucidation.

The Samaritans Purse and the Southern Baptist Convention have recieved my input:

Universal background checks only affect the law abiding and not the criminals.

“And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.”Luke 22:36

Southern Baptist Convention:
The Executive Committee, SBC
Office of Convention Relations
901 Commerce Street
Nashville, TN 37203-3699

The SBC’s Executive Committee can be contacted via telephone by calling (615)244-2355.

My views have be made known & and will contact others.
