(I'm referencing, when I say that, Jesus' words found in John 10:16: 16 I have OTHER sheep that are NOT of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.)
He's talking about the Gentiles, and you'll note that the result is "one flock and one shepherd", not thousands. Not sure how you get from there to the idea that nobody gets to claim that they're that "one flock". The text doesn't support it.
