VATICAN CITY (RNS) Three days after Pope Francis appealed for greater inter-religious dialogue between Catholics and Muslims, a high-profile Italian Muslim who converted to Catholicism and was baptized by Pope Benedict XVI announced that he will leave the church to protest its soft stance against Islam.
Egyptian-born Magdi Cristiano Allam, 61, a prominent journalist and outspoken critic of Islam, publicly entered the Catholic Church on March 22, 2008, during an Easter Vigil service, receiving baptism directly from Benedict.
After his conversion, Allam founded a small right-wing political party that lost badly in Italy’s general elections last April.
Writing on Monday in the right-wing daily Il Giornale, Allam explained that he considers his conversion to Catholicism finished “in combination with the end of [Benedict’s] pontificate.”
“The ‘papolatry’ that has inflamed the euphoria for Francis I and has quickly archived Benedict XVI was the last straw in an overall framework of uncertainty and doubts about the Church,” he wrote.
Allam, who has called Islam an “intrinsically violent ideology,” said his main reason for leaving the church was its perceived “religious relativism, in particular the legitimization of Islam as a true religion.”
“Europe will end up being subjugated to Islam,” he warned in Il Giornale, unless it “finds the courage to denounce Islam as incompatible with our civilization and fundamental human rights,” and to “banish the Quran for inciting hatred, violence and death towards non-Muslims.” Europeans also need to “condemn Sharia as a crime against humanity” and to “stop the spread of mosques.”

The Catholic Church always was adamant about the evil of Islam and how evil Marxism was prior to Vatican II. Many think the Freemason/Marxists (that Bella Dodd wrote about)-—took control of the Church and actually called VII to destroy it from within.
There is a war inside the Church.....Fr. Oko’s report talks about the homomafia (Marxism) which created all the “Social Justice” (Liberation Theology cr*p) and ditching all the great Traditions-—very Marxist thing to do— to destroy Traditions-—and to create “division” and molest children and the seminarians.
I don’t know about Pope Francis yet, though. I will see what he does with the Homoheresy report.........I am just waiting......
This “ecumenicism” seems to be a move for the NWO.. There is NO way two opposing beliefs can “dialogue” and agree on anything.

My wife works at a Catholic Hospital in KC, and I went with her to her office one morning recently. The hospital has always performed a morning prayer on loud speaker throughout the hospital. However on the day that I way there, I heard the person say after she prayed, “and now a reading from the Koran...” I was totally floored. I am Protestant, and do not agree with much that the Catholic church does, though I do respect their stance on abortion and a few other social positions. But I have to tell you, after hearing the Koran read out loud in the hospital, I feel a terrible darkness has descended and is engulfing us and the world. However, if you believe as I do, the Anti Christ must come, then these things are inevitable.

The Catholic Church is the Eucharist.where we meet the risen Christ, the Bread of Life. Everything else is froth.
