Are we going to spend the day complaining about some website logo or praising God for the sacrifice of his son to give us eternal life? Let’s try to keep things in perspective today.

It’s our love in believing that has gotten us upset at Google.
To: NYer
This one tipped me over the limit. Google is removed from my browser.

There will come a time when you will not be able to find links to Free Republic on Google. And if it’s not on Google, it doesn’t exist.

Thanks for the tip! Google cleverly sucked us into their all encompassing vortex and now that their belly is full, feel righteous and just in delivering their message. No thanks.

You didn’t capitalize “Son.”

This event has helped me decide on a new phone choice, which I’ve been thinking of buying. I won’t be giving a CENT to Droid.

Ditto! Today is Easter. Google had a host of options - use a religious theme, use a seasonal theme, or maintain no theme. They chose to celebrate Cesar Chavez birthday ... and not even a milestone one, at that. The message is clearly an "in your face" attack on ALL christians!
Bing is now my default search engine.

I forgot to post your comment to which i was replying. Lest anyone think I've morphed into the grammar police, let me try that again.

Bing is better anyway. I was looking up information on my Ford 351 engine and the first three screens on Googly were all garbage about how horrible anything with a 351 in it is and how terrible all automobiles are for the environment.
That's when I switched to Bing where I got exactly what I was looking for on the first page and the next three pages without any of the propaganda that Googly had up front whether anyone was looking for that garbage or not.
I haven't used Googly since and showed a lot of other people the difference in results for various things that got them to switch to Bing as well.

When Google decides to celebrate a turd like Chavez who turned non unionized farm workers into immigration rather than celebrate Easter in even a secular manner, then yes I think we can take a moment from celebrating the resurrection of Christ to call them on it.There is time in every day to call attention to evil when we see it!
