Why is the evil still here?

God permits the evil — just as in the Old Testament. Remember when Moses talked him down on the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? 50 good people, 40, 30, 20, 10 — ??

There weren’t even ten good people in the cities and as Lot and his wife left — they were destroyed.

Only one family was saved.

What about the great flood? Only Noah and his family were saved.

Love Christ, but given the world’s condition since his death, he died for nothing. Humanity sucks. Some more than others.

I know and truly appreciate that is not what you believe, but unless my eyes are lying to me about everything history tells us, humans suck and we need some better guidance.
