I hadn't realized that there were Carlists in Latin America, since that movement arose after the Latin American countries won their independence. Ferdinand VII ignored the Salic Law in order to make his daughter his heir, when the Salic Law would have dictated that his brother Carlos become the next king. The Salic Law was imported from France when Louis XIV's grandson became the first Bourbon king of Spain--earlier the throne had passed from Ferdinand and Isabella through Juana the Mad to Charles V (Carlos I in Spanish history).

Some members of the Carlist branch of the Spanish royal family are buried in a church in Trieste. They must have found refuge in the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Clearly, we need someone who will not back down from what needs to be said and done in this world.

I’d like to see him unite all the christian faiths. I’m Greek Orthodox. I know we are very adamant in following the Julian? (or is it the other one?) calendar when it comes to calculating Easter. Therefore, you have it this year a month after regular Easter. There’s no reason for that.

I don’t care what people think of Catholicsm. We should all be as one. It’s like Paul writing in Romans as he talks about uniting the Christian Jews and Non-Jews. We have the same thing here.

But I agree with this author, that the media will relentlessly pursue this man. Already, they’re twisting what he says and does.
