Essentially, this group includes several religious communities of women who have doffed their habits and embraced social activism. The member of one such community was caught acting as a protective escort for women entering an abortion clinic. These are the ones the mainstream media enjoy interviewing because they share their progressive views. You may recall Sr. Simone Campbell, mentioned in the title of this thread.

She delivered a speech at last year's Democratic National Convention. These women are confrontational and need to be reigned in.

Once upon a time I was catholic too, then Vatican II hit, and I just couldn’t stomach the decline.

No, I gave up catholicism for lent back in the late ‘60s. Never went back.

Vatican II let Mr. Stitch get his foot in the door. And down things went.
