Today's Scripture
The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion. (Proverbs 28:1, NKJV)
Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
As a believer in Jesus Christ, you are called to live a bold, confident and overcoming life. You dont have to live under the weight and pressure of fear. You dont have to live with daily anxiety. Because of Jesus, fear, worry and uncertainty are beneath you. When you rise up in faith, knowing that God is with you and for you, all doubt and fear has to leave your life.
Notice that todays scripture says that the righteous are as bold as a lion. Righteousness is Gods way of doing things. When you do things His way, when you are submitted to His plan for your life, He will empower you with boldness and strength. He will equip you to walk in His victory.
Today, if youve been feeling anxious or fearful, begin to declare Gods truth over your life which will set you free! Declare that you are righteous in Christ Jesus. Declare that you are more than a conqueror. Declare that you are as bold as a lion because you are a child of the Most High God!
A Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for setting me free from a spirit of fear. Thank You for filling me with strength and boldness. I set aside thoughts of worry and dread and thank You for Your peace as I keep my mind fixed on You in Jesus name. Amen.
I love Joel and Victoria, and although we are still stuck in areas of the traditions of man in the church, God is restoring the gospel of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ back to the church in these last days, just as he said he would.
Righteousness is not something we do; it is a gift and it is who we are because of who Jesus is and what he did on the cross.
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Romans 5:17.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
God bless you and may we learn to reign in life as we meditate on these wonderful, life-changing truths.
