The Mormon Church has a long history of bending long-standing sacred scripture and basic fundamental doctrine to comply with public opinion and/or economic expediency. A few of the more noted examples include:
A telling list of “concessions”. Some correct LDS error while others concede to the world’s system, concessions which demonstrates they (or any other group) are not of God.
The LDS are antichrist in the strictest sense of the word. And they will be instrumental, just as all false religions will be, in ushering in the antichrist.
Sodomy/sodomite allegiance might very well be the “mark” the antichrist will require emblazoned in hand and forehead. It’s got to be something so disgusting and reviling that no real Christian will accept it. Who knows, just speculation on my part.

In 2000, when a challenge to the exclusionary policy was argued, unsuccessfully, before the Supreme Court, lawyers for the Mormons said that if the Boy Scouts were forced to accept openly gay members, the church would leave. In an interview this month, Mr. Beck said he could not speculate about a hypothetical situation, but he added, “We want to continue relations with the B.S.A. far into the future.”

The LDS formally renounced polygamy in 1890 after being informed by Congress that the Utah Territory would never be admitted to the Union if polygamy remained enshrined in the Mormon church.
Six years later Utah became a state.
LDS has practiced more historical revisionism than the Soviet Union. Alcohol & tobacco were not proscribed until the 20th century. The Book of Mormon has been retailored so many times that owning an early 19th century BoM could now be dangerous.
Their stand on letting fags into the Boy Scouts can be understood in the context of their plummeting recruitment stats. LDS is losing, not gaining, membership and not even their practice of baptising the dead is reversing this trend. Endorsing gays is nothing more than outreach for new members.
