I truly feel sorry for protestants for not being able to participate in the greatest miracle in the last 2,000 years. I am speaking of Holy Eucharist, when you are truly in the presence of Jesus Christ.

Within us all of is a need that can only be filled by God. Some seek to fill it with power, money, pleasure, and prestige. No amount of any of these can satisfy that need which is the root of addiction. The tenets of Protestantism, in which we can assure ourselves that we are the ultimate authority on the meaning of Scripture appeals to our vanities and gives us a glimpse of the power and prestige that we believe will fill the void. It is only when we approach God with adoration, contrition, humility, and thanksgiving and love what He loves can begin to fill that void. Pray for them.
