We too, had a wonderful dobie, but she has been gone now for almost 20 years.
Seeing your tribute, I cry for yours, and ours. One never forgets. And I guess, never stops crying.

Thank you for the video Shari. What I saw was a wonderfully happy puppy and the reason for that was due to you and your husband and the love and care you gave. Take comfort in that.

We all go to so many Prayer threads here, and it is hard to remember them all - but I’ll happily remind you that you wrote a very kind letter to me after someone mentioned my loss on a thread. I wrote down all the names of those who replied and wrote to me because it really meant a lot to me at the time. It still does, and I’m happy to remind you, lol!
You have a wonderful profile page moose07. I look at everyone’s profiles and yours is outstanding.
It is especially hard to remember everyone when you have no faces to go along with the names. I rarely forget a face, I see people ever so often that I know I should know their name but I don't.
I forget a lot of stuff too Ditter. I’ve lost my interest into delving deep into any political research anymore and I just do a lot more reading and lurking, lol. Hurts in life and anxiety with our government has caused many of us to feel kinda helpless anymore.
You didn’t forget to do the kind things, and that’s what counts most of all!

After young Angus’ passing, DH and I were in much the same place as you two find yourselves still - hug. A very dear, dog loving friend offered us a thought that had been shared with her. It is a question she said she has asked herself more than once throughout the years : / Would we give up our memories, and our time with him - to ease the terrible pain of his loss?
We knew that we would have never traded a moment...
The sorrowful emptiness from Halla’s sudden passing, is a testament. Both to her spirit, and to the all encompassing love that you both surrounded her with from the first.
Please take care, and take time my friend.
