People who think churches should be taxed had better think things through again.

Why should you recommend that American Churches DISOBEY Christ's example ?

Are you saying that American tax-emempt (politically muzzled) churches are "wiser" or "more spiritual" than Jesus Christ ?

The Christian Churches that Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry and George Washington attended were indeed "tax-exempt" ...

but their Pastors WERE NOT POLITICALLY MUZZLED like American Christian Pastors today.


American Church "tax-exempt status" is a CLEAR "voluntarily-accepted" BRIBE for POLITICAL SILENCE.

Period.

"WHEN" ... American Xhurches JETTISON the SPIRITUAL CURSE of IRS 501 C-3 ...

then they will "genuinely"" be FREE of Government Control.



Suggestion: Ask your Pastor thus Sunday to read IRS 501 C-3 from the Church Pulpit.

Just make sure you've got your bible, cellphone and car-keys in your hands ...

I concur. No tax breaks for churches and the government can’t complain when we have much more Christian activism from the pews and sermons.
Satan devised that scheme, and it waters down the message and attempts to eliminates us as the salt of the earth.

You're confusing 501C corporations with churches. If some organization files as a corporation, so be it, but that doesn't justify taxing churches organized as churches and not as corporations.

The clergy were the professionals who were most consistently Whigs. They and the doctors etc. Washington could not have held on in New Jersey but for the intelligence given him by the Presbyterial preachers.

What's not generally NOT known by most American Christians is that almost "every" church is a two-entity operation (originating from U.S. Supreme Court rulings).


Entity-1 : The Spiritual Side

Doctrine, Teaching, Prayers ... basically non-tangible items



Entity-2 : Money and Material Items

Money, Bank Accounts, Property, Insurance, Books, Hymnals, Choir Robes, the Pastor's Podium



The "vast majority" of ALL churches that own ANYTHING from "Column-2" is a corporation.

A corporation.

Just ask your church's Accountant.

And just as the SPCA and Lion's Clubs are "corporations" that ULTIMATELY ANSWER TO THE GOVERNMENT that CREATED them ...

so are "religious corporations".
