Many families are going to need a lot of help of all kinds for quite a while..

Especially those with children lost.

Maybe a bank is setting up donation accounts.

All we can do is pray and know that those dear babies are in the arms of our Lord.

Praying for their sweet souls and for God to comfort their grieving families.

I can’t let my mind think about how scared they were.

My heart is aching over this.

My first cousin lives there, and I managed to reach her on the cell phone today as she was driving her son, D-i-l, and their 2 day old newborn to a hole-in-the-ground shelter.

We prayed together over the phone, but I have not heard from her since about 4:30 EDT.

Prayers for all the precious people of that area. This is horrible.

The Weather Channel is reporting that cell phone servers are completely jammed because the land lines are down, and people are using their cell phones to communicate.

I don’t want to hinder rescue efforts by using the cell phone, so I will just wait for her call.
