Perhaps We Need to Pray for the Second Coming

......Perhaps, praying for the second coming is too self-serving.

No way. Don’t be hard on yourself - you are right about expecting Him, wishing you could be with Him sooner rather than later, you want to be surrounded by His goodness and glory and not this evil in the earth. I feel the same but we both know it’s His timing and we both know His Timing is best but that still doesn’t rule out ‘our hurry up’ feeling. We don’t have to pray for it - just tell God you are so happy He is coming soon - the sooner the better! He’s your Father - so speak to Him like He is.

Almost like a kid waiting until his/her father comes home from work, they know the time is near for his arrival while checking the driveway or for the sound of his car coming up the road for them to run and yell out ‘daddy’s home’!! Our Father in Heaven wants to see His children with the same excitement and anticipation and you have it.

Meanwhile, we have work to do to bring Him others that don’t know HIM and they too can have the same excitement with their personal relationship with Him, also. Imagine how they will feel when they find out how over the top good God is and they only wished they knew Him sooner! Our Father gives us the sense of security we are longing for and HE ALONE is the only ONE that can offer it. This world has nothing to offer.

I believe that person has already been promised: Jesus Christ. How do we get him here? We get on our knees, bow our heads, and beg forgiveness. We utter prayers of Thanksgiving for all He has done for us. We beg Him to save us from the wickedness and snares of the devil. Satan is loosed upon the Earth, and only Christ can defeat him permanently. We fast and abstain and sacrifice whatever we must until our prayer for His salvation is granted. I have no other idea of how we can deal with the reality of our world today. May we be blessed by the Lord, Our God, once more. Amen

Michael has yet to literally toss the devil out of heaven, however, the spirit of lawlessness is rampant all around this globe. Christ said 'deception' was the sign of His Return. Do you know what that 'deception' is? The deception is said to afflict all but the elect. And the tribulation is not about wars and rumors of wars, but a fake peace done by a fake peacemaker.
