I believe that person has already been promised: Jesus Christ. How do we get him here? We get on our knees, bow our heads, and beg forgiveness. We utter prayers of Thanksgiving for all He has done for us. We beg Him to save us from the wickedness and snares of the devil. Satan is loosed upon the Earth, and only Christ can defeat him permanently. We fast and abstain and sacrifice whatever we must until our prayer for His salvation is granted.

I have no other idea of how we can deal with the reality of our world today.

May we be blessed by the Lord, Our God, once more. Amen

I’m getting so very frustrated with the people of the world and of America especially. When will we realize that ONLY GOD is in charge.

Please forgive my usurpation of FR to have a tantrum. This is one of the very few places left where I feel free to share these thoughts.

I like how/what you think. God's will ... will be! Our part is to be obedient to His Word. Love the LORD with all our heart, mind, soul, strength, and love our neighbor as our self.

is to find a leader who can awaken the sleeping, invigorate the downhearted,

Just be careful not to pray for the wrong things or in the wrong spirit.
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. / As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. / Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? …

I pray for it every day. I look up every day. Multiple times a day.

The Cloward-Piven strategy, which has been employed by the left since the 60s, and by Obama his whole career, is designed to bring about the collapse of the system so the marxists can revise America from the rubble. The belief was they can't create their utopia until the country is desperate, so use the system against itself to bring about its collapse.

The problem is it has worked too well, and we are now well on the path to imposition of a global socialist/fascist allied with islamofascism against the wishes of the remnant population of Americans who still think as Americans. The remnant population is currently a majority, but divided because of the destruction of the education system and the development of the low information voter. Those of us who are knowledgable Americans and who are alarmed at the rise of tyranny are currently a minority. Not a small minority, as were the marxists in the 1960s, but a minority.

Things do not look good for our side. To reverse the trend and restore a country that even remotely resembles America requires a miracle. It requires defeat of amnesty bills, enforcement of immigration laws, victory in Congress and obtaining the Presidency in 2016, the political will to reverse all that Obama did in the next administration and to start reversing the welfare state in spite of the firestorm in the media, and THEN a long, slow march through the institutions (education, the media, entertainment, churches, bureaucracies, etc.) by conservatives to match the march that leftists have been on since the early 20th century. You can't replace the teachers and the journalists in one fell swoop, it will take decades, 50 years or more.

I don't see it happening. The left had its manifesto, and its leadership that imposed political correctness and organized the strategy, and it took them 100 years to get to this point. We don't have that kind of freedom or time. There weren't databases in 1920, just files in a cabinet. The light of freedom is flickering. The best we have, Limbaugh, Cruz, Rand Paul, Jim DeMint, Sarah Palin, don't command armies of blindly obedient drones, and don't have a long term strategy for retaking the country beyond trying to stop the left from destroying what's left of our freedom. No one is on the horizon to be that person, either.

The situation of the 60s may now be reversed. Freedom loving constitutionalists are the upstarts, the fringe nutjobs. Everyone else either doesn't care, doesn't know or approves of the imposition of a leftist tyranny. We are in a position where we have to create conditions that allow us to defeat the left and restore America when it can't be done by using the system as it has been defiled.

How? I would suggest a Cloward Piven of the right. Rather than let another 10, 20, 30 years go by, when we are fewer, fringier, older and weaker, and then say, "enough! It's time to fight", we still have the country and the military right now. (Imagine the homosexualized military in 20 years). We need to collapse the system sooner rather than later. Kind of a variation of Atlas Shrugged, but only one aspect of the collapse would be from "going Galt". Part of it could be doing whatever we can to use the absurdities of the liberal economic and political policies against it--from applying for welfare and subsidies to dumping treasuries to letting illegals take all the jobs. Don't fight the stupidity, pile it on and let it collapse of its own weight. Then, an organized and determined movement of the American remnant might just be able to rise from the chaos, led by the states that have not yet been overtaken by foreigners and the 47 percent.

Jesus is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

Jesus will come when God decides. Until then my work is to help unbelievers to Christ. As much as I disagree with what anybody does I don’t want to see them go to hell.

Keep yer chin up. No need to pray for His return as He has ordained that it will occur. Many of us, myself included, have a problem with just trusting in Him and not getting tied up in the worldly things. About the only thing we can do to hasten the day is to become missionaries of the Word and carry it to anyone who will sit still long enough to hear it. Jesus told us to “resist not evil” and I believe it’s because that is His job and we are incapable of defeating it - we tend to give the Evil One more openings to leverage and cause us even more misery. Before He returns, the world will become a cesspool that will make what we have today seem like the good old days. I keep telling myself to stop trying to change the evil in the world and spend more time carrying the Word because that is the only thing I can do where I might be effective. I also believe that what will kick off the event is when He has deemed that the Word has been made available to a certain number of people so all who are of a certain age will have had the chance to make the decision between salvation and damnation. We can deal with the reality of the world because we trust in Him and he is good and faithful and will not change. God Blesses us each and every day if we only take the time to be still and know that He is God and what He has assumed responsibility for cannot be changed by our efforts to defeat that which cannot be defeated by mortal men. I know this instinctively, but I still find myself getting angry and demoralized each and every day that I think about the way evil is running the show - for now...

Michael has yet to literally toss the devil out of heaven, however, the spirit of lawlessness is rampant all around this globe. Christ said 'deception' was the sign of His Return. Do you know what that 'deception' is? The deception is said to afflict all but the elect. And the tribulation is not about wars and rumors of wars, but a fake peace done by a fake peacemaker.
