No it isn’t. It is a fraternal organization, but they do nothing that the Freemasons would do.
Of course not, because some of the things Freemasons do are condemned by the Roman Catholic Church.
KoC, as I said, is the alternative. It provides, as you say, a fraternal organization for Roman Catholic men who are seeking such, and might become interested in joining the Masons.
At least that’s how one of the Jesuits I had as an instructor in high school explained it to me.
KoC was created as an alternative for Catholics to join instead of Masonry!!!
Oh and by the way they do pretty much the same as Masons DO!!!
