He really knows how to get to the central theme - it is not a social club, but the family of Jesus. Doing philanthropy is not enough. we must be willing to proclaim Jesus as the Son of God and take whatever criticism comes our way.

Agreed. It’s but one reason I refuse to give to the Red Cross but will give to the Salvation Army. Works without Christ is nothing. Christians need to without hesitation proclaim that they work for He alone.
