Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD, Our God!
Sanctified and Holy is Your Most Hallowed Name.
How Excellent,
How Wonderful,
How Perfect You Are!
My heart is Overwhelmed With Your Glory,
Your Magnificence,
and Your Power!
When I think of how Awesome You Are,
Of How You Transcend Time and Space,
Of How You Created Everything That Is and Ever Was,
Of How You Tell History
From the Beginning to The End
and the End to The Beginning,
Of How You Give us a Glimpse into Your Infinite Mind
through Your Holy and Unchanging Word,
How You Are Faithful To Your Promises
Even When We Fall Away,
And How You Fulfill Every Detail of Your Precepts,
When we ourselves fall so short of the target,
I just have to stop everything,
And say, "How Great and AWESOME YOU ARE!"

Almighty God, When My Heart is so troubled by Events,
To Whom can I turn,
But To You?
And Yet, Sometimes,
As I lie awake,
thinking about where my Country is going,
And indeed, the Whole World,
I get so overwhelmed.
And Yet...here are those very emotions I experience...
Right here in Your Holy Word.

ba Father, We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise!
Contend With Those Who Contend With Your People, Oh LORD.
Be Their Buckler and Their Shield,
Their Sword and their Spear, Oh LORD.
Let them be confounded and turn back in confusion,
that seek to harm Your People.

We Plead For Those
Who continue to Love and Support Your People,
In Spite of the Current Political Climate.

We Ask that this will open the eyes
of people in our own Nation.

We ask for forgiveness for ourselves,
Dear Father, and we Pray for Our Nation.
We ask You to reverse the trends of evil and selfishness
that have taken hold in our own Land.
We beg that You will restore Faith in You,
The One True God,
and that Our own Nation will Once Again be Known
as one who keeps Her Promises to Her Friends and Allies,
and NOT as A Covenant-Breaker.

We Plead With You,
That Our Leaders will be Led by Your Holy Spirit
with regards to Our Own Country's Policies Towards Jerusalem,
Or That You Will Remove Them.
We Plead That Your Will be Done,
On Earth, As It Is In Heaven

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
So that People of All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netanyahu,
and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
