If you asked for prayer, you are a believer, and prayers are being uplifted for you and your spouse, right now.
These two verses may offer you some comfort:
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. - Psalm 30:5
Be still and know that I am God. - Psalm 46:10
Let go and LET GOD. Blessings to you, FRiend.
I join in urgent prayer for you and your wife.
Thanks for your kind words and Bible verses. I have been doing a lot of weeping lately, as I have been very scared. Was also concerned when the “ghetto” neighbor ran up the stairs and pounded on my front door for no reason tonight. I told my wife to get my gun and call the police. It was rather scary, but he eventually walked away. We are trying hard to get a house, but apparently its now a “seller’s market” here and every time we see something we like and afford, it’s already under contract before we can make an offer. Please keep up the prayers. God bless you all.
** I just want to work my way out of this nightmare I am living in, **
You will, with God’s help. God bless.
Have you considered a rental for just a year? Six months if a landlord can be?
Your ghetto neighbors must know you’re leaving, or afraid. Hold your head up HIGH, but always be aware of your surroundings....and get ON with life. They’re being bullies.
Tears are good...as is action...READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY!
Salvation Army, your church...there’s places to look who will help.
Actually it’s more of a buyer’s market. If the price is right on a house — it’s gone.
We are building a new church and the interest rate is low — it would have cost us a great deal more to have done it earlier or to have delayed.
Thanks be to God!
If ever a door is closed..God provides a window.
We already asked for an extension, and they refused. Kept telling us that we had to be out by August, no exceptions and no extensions. My wife and I both thought they would rather have our rent than not have it; makes no sense to us. Now I am just praying hard, and bracing for what happens next.
The Lord ALWAYS knows when the Lord is being lied to. With the Lord as Judge, how could anyone go wrong offering a prayer for a fellow human being? I don’t get the hesitation from some people. Does anyone know better than G-d?
Well then, they don't DESERVE you!
I should add I know that fear.I am not going to tell you the story until you move out.You re afraid to walk down the steps and out your front door.i was a child then.
I was in your shoes, so I know what it’s like. Stay strong, have faith, and do whatever you need to do. It is amazing what faith can do.
What state do you live in.?i have some friends that help the homeless and get housing.
Praying for you.
I believe him, because I’ve done it myself. There was something I was terribly embarrassed and anguished about. I logged in with a new name, described the situation briefly, asked for prayer, and went for a walk in the fields at midnight. When I came back I was deluged with Freeper help, advice, and wise counsel, all of which helped enormously. So yes, I believe the original poster. And I will pray for him. I know also what it’s like to be exhausted by ghettoish neighbors.
Thanks for repeating that important fact.
May the Lord hear yours and our prayers for you and give you strength, prayerneeded.
How do you see this as being your concern? If the mods have a problem with it, no doubt the Freeper will hear from them. Meanwhile, if for some incomprehensible reason you cannot understand that someone might have feelings and reactions that are different from yours, no one is forcing you to participate on the thread.
Your landlord can not legally break the terms of your lease unless he has legal grounds for eviction. Make him go through the whole legal process and if his case does not have merit the courts should rule in your favor.
If you are current with your rent and have stuck to the lease and have not created any kind of hazard or nuisance your landlord can go pound sand.
“I am a freeper of over twelve years, who is embarrassed and ashamed to use my regular log in for this post.”
Perhaps you did not read that sentence in his post?
