There is little doubt of the faith of this man and his family.
I was shocked Discovery actually played his audio.
Jesus protects fools?
Meanwhile, posters at ESPN were making fun of the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals for refusing to play in the rain. There WAS a lot of lightning around, though...
No, but his Daddy does............
RE: Jesus protects fools?
Yeah, I’m not sure if what he’s doing is not tempting God.
I’d like to see a muslim do that.
The lesson to be learned: Don’t try this on your own.
Jesus protects fools?
Why yes, yes He does.
Gain some experience here before casting stones (I'm sure you understand the Biblical ref.).
5.56mm
Good point. This is not biblical faith.
A lot of the great revolutionaries who contributed
Much to society were also called fools.
The wright brothe, etc
Wow, his grandfather died in Puerto Rico crossing a wire at the age of 73.

Here’s more on the family.

I do not question the faith of Nik; however, the presence of one false teacher Joel Olsteen was quite a statement to me personally. In listening to the words of Nik as he crossed the wire, it was clear that he is caught up in some false teaching, apparently the “word of faith” teachings from which Joel Olsteen was reared under his father John. Nik, Joel, nor any other man has authority over the wind, or any other elements of nature in the name of Jesus. God alone has reserved that power for himself. As much as men so desire and act the role of a being a little god; God has not invested man with such authority.
Perfect example of religious narcissism.
Nobody plays baseball in the rain.
Not sure Jesus would have answered:
Luke 4:9
The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. If you are the Son of God, he said, throw yourself down from here. 10For it is written:
He will command his angels concerning you
to guard you carefully;
11they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.d
12Jesus answered, It is said: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.e
I believe Noah took a fair amount of derision over foolishly building an ark.
What I like best about Nik is his lack of costuming. Anybody that can go do amazing stuff in genes and a t-shirt is OK in my book.
