People have stopped praying for their priests and bishops. This is a dereliction of duty in itself.

Here's some info abou AGLO I didn't know until I read the linked article:

" AGLO was formed 25 years ago when Cardinal Bernardin forced a split in the local Catholic LGBT community. He offered the existing group Dignity a choice of how to worship in a take-it-or-leave-it approach. Bernardin formed AGLO out of the Archdiocese, and Dignity went in its own direction."

In other words, even the much-maligned Bernardin found the strength and wisdom to banish Dignity (the pro-LGBT group) and establish AGLO (Archdiocesan Gay and Lesbian Outreach) --- which supports chastity in accord with Catholic faith and morals.

I was glad to learn this. Oddly, it did not appear in previous accounts of the sacrileges committed during Cardinal George's Mass.

Satan is gunning for our priests. He has bishops tangled up and muffled in soft servitude (as they say, once you're a bishop, you will never have a bad dinner and you will never be told the truth.)

Our priess and bishops need our prayers so they can man up, return to Christ with their whole heats, and access the strength which is part of their ordination.

PRAY!

I am a reformed Protestant. But I have felt the same thing he is talking about.

**People have stopped praying for their priests and bishops. This is a dereliction of duty in itself.**

Form or join a Serra USA Club in your area. Praying for priests is one of the many things we do. We also get kids going off to college connected with the Newman Centers. We sponsor a Priesthood Sunday and usually make it special for our priest in some way. And there are other prayers. Click on vocations at the site.

We need to pray for our priests and in the case of this writer who is a priest, he may need to get a gun permit.

I’m going to poke you a bit.....not because I don’t like what you are say.....but because your post frustrates me, and it frustrates me because we are probably very close politically and morally in the way we’d like things to be.

“Revolt is coming.”

You keep repeating this. In this thread and others. Is this a mantra you recite, trying to convince yourself things will get better? Do you mean to say “I pray revolt is coming?” If so, we are in ageement, and I am frustrated that I and my fellow citizens have allowed our republic to sink to this low.

Or do you have specific knowledge of when & where the revolt will begin? Who will be it’s leaders? Who can I rally around? And if you have such specific knowledge, what’s to say the government doesn’t have it as well.....and will arrest you and the other leaders before it even starts?

Maybe you are a government agent provacateur.....trying to get someone to act unwisely and start something. Maybe I am.

Who do we trust? Who do we rally around? And what about Romans 13? I believe the one thing that gave our original revolution legitimacy in the eyesof God is that it was our “local” elected government fighting to protect us from a “distant” tyranny. I’m not gonna pick up a gun and go kill a fellowcitizen because I want to start a revolution. But, my local government rebelling against national tyranny.....as many local sheriffs have begun to do.....yeah, I might go stand with those guys.

Please think.....and be more specific....when posting. Because this is the kind of stuff that your post leads to. And like the author of the article, I’m starting to get pretty darned scared, too.
