The Nicene Creed is Catholic. At the Council of Nicea it was decided upon to squelch many heresies, among them, gnosticism.
So you can say, “Thanks, Catholics!”
“The Nicene Creed is Catholic.”
The Nicene Creed is no more Catholic than the Bible is Catholic.
That’s ok, Some people even claim God is on “their” team
My point was that it is what many Christians believe to this day, not just Catholics, and as such, does not act to differentiate Catholics from any other denomination, as it was presented.
