Some pleasures are Biblical, like sex within marriage. If fact, God wants husbands and wives to enjoy sex.

This is about as old and venerable a homily as possible. Humans have ALWAYS and ALWAYS competed for the scare resources of fame, money, power and status. That is a basic of sociology.
It is all still true, isn't it?
