Wasn’t it true that the veil of the Temple was so strongly woven that oxen teams pulling in four directions could not rip it, and yet it was torn in two from top to bottom at the moment of Jesus’ death?
The former is asserted by Josephus, IINM, and his account is regarded by many as authoritative. The latter is written of in Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38 and Luke 23:45.
