Whatever it may be, This is not a Christian church.

“Friend of the groom or friend of the groom?”
Instead of throwing rice at the happy couple, throw condoms.

These apostate “churches” may call this “marriage,” but God will have none of this blasphemous behavior.

My guess - dying churches looking to make a “splash” or “change things up” will be losing their congregation at an even faster rate.
Soon to followed by articles on how these “churches” can not afford to even maintain their building anymore.
And their new LGBT members?
Not much support to rebuild from there.

The twist that will come out of all of this is that churches ultimately won’t have a choice in the matter, they either perform gay marriages or they do no marriages at all. If they discriminate they will be shut down. If they do no marriages then no one gets married within their faith.

No real Christian would be a part of any such “church”

Have the Lutherans consulted God on this ‘redefinition of marriage’, I wonder?
As I recall, His Word has some things to say on the subject.

What’s the difference between a ‘blessing ceremony’ and a ‘gay marriage’? Why wouldn’t they just have a marriage ceremony?

Religious ceremonies are typically not governed by state law, so Catholics and other churches that dont recognize same-sex marriage are not required to marry gay couples or any couples, for that matter.TYPICALLY not governed?!!!! Anyone else not see this as a blatant shot across the bow?
