Maybe, and maybe not. God works in mysterious ways and Christianity is resurgent in Russia. I will cheer any victory against the godless, regardless of which land it comes from.

The Putin stand with regard to Christians is that he would rather side with peace loving worshipers than with the butchers of Baghdad. It remains to be seen if the Russian state can fully embrace our King of Kings religion.
