Those who say Jesus created only grape juice at the wedding in Cana deny half the miracle, in my opinion. Not only did Jesus prove mastery over the physical world by transforming water to wine, but he proved mastery over time itself, because fermentation and ageing take time.

Wow. Hadn’t thought of His miraculous powers like that. But it was Mary His mother who said, “Son, they have no wine”.
Did Jesus respond, “They have already had enough to drink. I will not contribute to their further drunkenness”?
Hmmm...seems like Mary His mother was already aware of her Son’s powers. Jesus’ response was basically, “Mom, please don’t put me on the spot like this!” Then Mary said to the servants of the banquet, “Do whatever He tells you”.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
