Just last week there was an incident in Syria which resulted in several Christian villages being demolished and the inhabitants murdered. I don’t condone the use of gas on the inhabitants of Syria, but where is the outrage over the Christian genocide in the Middle East for the past 20-40 years?

It seems to me that there is evidence only that gas was used. it would make much more sense to think that the ‘rebels’ (aka muslim brotherhood aka AQAP) did this and then said look at what he did. Anyone with a younger sibling has had that happen on at least one occasion.

I don't buy it. What chemical weapon did Assad use? A nerve agent, blood agent or blistering agent? If Assad used either a nerve or blood agent, the casualties would have been horrendous. A drop of Sarin on the skin will kill in very short order.

Assad has crossed the red line. He is committing genocide. We cannot turn a blind eye. He must be stopped.

1. Any comparison between Syria and the Nazis is a false parallel. The situations are totally different.

2. We don't know that it was Assad. Both sides are serial liars, as is our own White House. We don't know whether the rebels did it to frame Assad, or Assad did it to kill rebels, or something else.

3. I see no reason for us to go to war when we have no interests in the outcome and no knowledge of what is going on or which side (if any) would be the least evil.
