Please pray for a 13 year old who went in for major surgery this morning. He went into the OR at 8:45 and we just received word he is still in surgery. Can't imagine what's going on, but please Lord...

I am well and appreciate the good wishes. I’m sorry you had to wait for an update, but here it is.
For those who wanted a name or initials, we’re going to refer to this young man as BW. He got out of surgery sometime this morning. Yep, well over 20 hours. They had to bring in a second cardiac surgeon and take several runs at the procedure. He is not awake and has some minor bleeding issues, but they expect that to stop soon and all organ functions are normal.
Thank you for your prayers, I’ll continue posting updates as I receive them.

No MS...God Bless BW, all those charged with his care, and last but not least, you sir for caring enough to solicit prayers on this childs behalf. I have a 12 yo son myself and could never imagine him going through such an ordeal. The power of prayer is unparalleled and I could not be more pleased to receive your encouraging update.
I will continue to pray for BW until you let us know he is well.
May the Lord keep a watchful eye over him always.

Thank you for the update. May God continue to give BW and his family strength, for they surely need it after what he’s endured.
May BW be healed through this tremendously long surgery. Wow! 20 hours — no wonder they had to call a second doctor.
Glad to! New update: Bleeding continues, but has lessened quite a bit. Other signs look good so far.
