As i get older I am so far sighted that I can’t really read actual paper pages anymore. It isn’t just the Bible I read online
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Such an overused verse, but so true.
How many today were raised on scripture? It’s that simple. I will lay odds the percentage of Americans under 50 that went to Sunday school, bible study, church or private religious school as a child is very low.
We had to memorize scriptures every week and recite them back.
This country does not care about such things now. Pray for us all. Deciding to dive into the Word in a focused manner is no small decision for an adult. Like so many things in life, the excuses not to are legion.
