I have a Facebook friend of mine from high school with whom I debate over various issues, including homosexuality. I takign the Biblical stand, as written and she takes the more modern “love” and “changing” attitude. She is also a self proclaimed feminist. Where is her masters degree from?: Fuller Thelogical Seminary!

That’s either the dumbest or most disingenious of those three arguments. Do they really believe that the original recipients of the books of the Bible really thought that the books taught homosexual behavior was OK or that marriage was anything but either one man to one woman or one man to two or more women?
At least the other two arguments acknowledge that the original texts meant what they said. They just choose not to believe it.
