Neil Riser is one of the 14 candidates running to fill the quickly-vacated seat of Congressman Rodney Alexander, 5th District, LA. Two days before he announced his retirement, he voted for MORE funding of the NSA.
Neil Riser is reported to have the blessing of Piyush ‘Bobby’ Jin-Dal, Rodney Alexander, and a few organizations, right from the starting gate. He is already a political hack, looking to get a different job.
I don’t want to vote for a political hack, after just another job. I want someone that would represent ME. But I, also, do NOT want some mindless Democrat, either.
The 5th District is one of the districts that were re-apportioned, just a year or two ago, and the CENLA area, is “the adopted bastard split by Solomon”. The largest city in the district is MONROE, and the district stretches southwest from there. MONROE has their own troubles, and their own corrupted politicians, including the mayor, who is also a candidate for this vacancy.
