What’s this, first recent case we’ve heard about this year, and all the Catholic bashers can do is bash, bash, bash.
As a Catholic, I consider this good news. This priest is outed, and now he is finished. And, no, this is no longer the 1970s, when the bishops took “professional” psychological advice and would have sent him to a clinic to dry out. This priest is finished.
There’s a word for a male who is attracted to other males, but I’ve got a mental block. That word just seems to evade me.
Maybe he should become a military Chaplain, they are looking for queers.

I’ve never seen the study that shows that priests actually have a higher rate of pedophilia than the general pop. (Not saying it’s not possible, but I’ve never seen it, and yet so many people, mostly non-Catholics, seem to believe it already been proven to be so.)
This wasn’t even a case of pedophilia. It was statutory rape/ephebophilia. If this had happened a few months later it wouldn’t even be an actual crime.
