Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius finalized a contraception mandate that ignores the fact groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor are religious organizations, according to a lawsuit filed to protect them against fines for refusing to comply with an Obamacare mandate.

"We cannot violate our vows by participating in the government's program to provide access to abortion-inducingdrugs,” Sister Loraine Marie said of a class-action lawsuit filed against the mandate on behalf of multiple religious organizations that provide health benefits.

Rab did commission collections for these folks in Phoenix, just befor Christmas back in 62. Discovered later, what a kindness I had found.

The administration didn't know groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor are religious organizations? Or didn't care?

Either way, Obama's goons are an ignorant wrecking crew.

Wikipedia has a good article about them: Little Sisters of the Poor But this part is unbelievable:
The tenth home was established in our Nation’s Capital on February 2, 1871.... The home gained considerable political support and the Little Sisters were authorized to beg for donations in Federal government buildings — an unprecedented privilege that continued uninterrupted until the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

Whose idea was this? Somebody thought they were a threat?

I'd say didn't care. Little Sisters was considered "not religious enough" by the government overlords.
