I agree. As St. Paul said - 'to win Jews I became as a Jew . . . to win the weak I became weak . . . '

We have to go out and meet the Orthodox where they are. And, unfortunately, where they are is in a position of serious, long-entrenched distrust of Rome. I believe that our Pope Emeritus did much to help this situation, hopefully Pope Francis will continue, and hopefully local efforts will continue (such as our joint Catholic-Orthodox prayer services here in Atlanta, which I think have borne good fruit).

In the meantime, I'm just going to ignore a few rude words and concentrate on the matters upon which we can agree. They are many.
