No it isn't. The grace falls on all equally, but different people receive it in different amount.
it would be more accurate to call you ...
I am quite simply Catholic. If someone can point out how my views contradict the views of the Holy Catholic Church, I will seek to understand my error and change my views.
if you confess that no one is righteous, no one seeks after God, it does not follow that we are saved by being righteous and seeking after God
On our own, in a pagan state, we are not seeking God, but through baptism we enter into the supernatural domain where we become open to grace on a certain initial level.
You also cannot say that it is by grace that our works and faith are perfected, since it does not explain the origin of faith and works, which, obviously, is by God.
I agree. Why cannot I say it?
cease to make any sense at all
the sensual man perceiveth not these things that are of the Spirit of God; for it is foolishness to him, and he cannot understand, because it is spiritually examined. (1 Corinthians 2:14)
I would encourage you to answer my points and questions
I think I did so honestly and at length. I would encourage you to read the Holy Scripture for what it really says rather that hopping from one faulty Protestant prooftext to the next, and then you, too, will become Catholic and gain the understanding of the Holy Scripture, and more importantly, will be on the road to salvation.
“read the Holy Scripture for what it really says rather that hopping from one faulty PROTESTANT prooftext to the next, and then you, too, will become Catholic”
LOL, I’ll leave the conversation on that note.
