But it seems the intervening years have done little to help Madonna decide exactly who she’s praying to.
For it appears the queen of re-invention may be on the verge of one of her most startling changes yet, after she revealed she was studying the Koran.
The 55-year-old was raised a Roman Catholic, but for the past 17 years she has been a devout follower of Kabbalah, a mystical offshoot of Judaism.
Now the singer, whose current partner is a Muslim, has begun investigating Islam.
She said: ‘I am building schools for girls in Islamic countries and studying the Koran.

I was asking myself the same thing. Then I thought ... liberals can talk themselves into redefining anything to be anything. In madonna's world she can redefine Islam to be their idealist view of what Islam SHOULD be from their standpoint.
Liberals can rationalize anything because as you say ... liberalism is a mental disorder.
She should talk to Jesus Christ.
Islam's adherents have done this from the beginning. Men sweet talk and flatter stupid women to get them to convert. Converting a famous woman would be a coup. (Princess Diana appeared well on the way to being the poster girl of Islamic conversion.)
If you want to pray throughout the day, go to daily Mass and pray the Liturgy of the Hours. There is no tradition in Islam they didn't steal from somewhere else.
Islam was founded by a monster who beheaded, raped and enslaved people, so Madonna MAY just be goofy enough to join! Bob

I said a long time ago, Madonna would wake up one day and look in the mirror to see a booger looking back, and on that day she would become a muslim and start wearing a veil.
