The use of the term, “magisterium” makes me think this is a confused RC trying to dump biblical believers into the pot of cults like Mormons, JW, Moses David & the Children of God, Witness Lee & the local Church, et al.

The use of the term, “magisterium” makes me think this is a confused RC ...

This thread is another serial attempt at RC proselytizing and an opportunity for more of his blog pimping. It is tiring to say the least. These incessant doctrinal disputes trying to pump up the errors of Rome deserve no place on FreeRepublic. Every day we see these Catholics posting theory as fact. They post their catechismal teachings as being the authority above Scripture. They brag about their riches, and ghoulish displays of dead people. Their buildings are full of idols, and they light candles thinking it helps them to pray and get to God's ear.

But, thank God we have the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. Thank God we have the Holy Spirit to keep our feet on the path. Thank God he sent the Holy Spirit so that we may know the riches of his glory.

2 Corinthians 6: 4 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial[b]? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”
17 Therefore,

“Come out from them
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”
18 And,

“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”...

... Ephesians 2: 1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
