Think that’s the right answer. :)

I went. I saw. I wish I would not have. Dear God, mlizzy, WHY do you think those ghastly things are beautiful?! Please, make me understand this GULF between us here..

smvoice, I never said I thought they were beautiful... I just find them um, interesting... and since Jody didn't like the skulls rosary, which I actually think is pretty cool, I thought I'd send her the bejeweled skeletons...

But it's true, I don't have the issue with death that I once had.

I actually am better with death now than I was in the past. After my grandfather died and a few more people that I loved and I knew where they were, it didn’t seem so awful to me anymore.

Now I could never work with bodies or anything like that but I don’t have that fear associated with them anymore.

I actually wish I could just go on home. I long to be there with those I love.

I guess He doesn't want you.... yet! :) But during blocks of time I was in the hospital more time than was out, I had those thoughts too, but He's just not finished with either one of us, so we enjoy, to the best of our capabilities, everyone of His days, continuing "His" journey marked out special for us.

It's really very beautiful when you think about it all. For instance I got to meet you! ♥ We're on opposite sides of the fence on some issues, it is true, but at least we both have passion, eh? :)

It is good that Protestants attempt to understand the lives of Catholic saints; perhaps one day they will convert and be saved. Let us not judge this stupid article harshly.

...if you would purchase this treasure of which we are speaking, God would have you keep back nothing from Him, little or great. He will have it all; in proportion to what you know you have given will your reward be great or small. There is no more certain sign whether or not we have reached the prayer of union. Do not imagine that this state of prayer is, like the one preceding it, a sort of drowsiness (I call it 'drowsiness' because the soul seems to slumber, being neither quite asleep nor wholly awake). In the prayer of union the soul is asleep, fast asleep, as regards the world and itself: in fact, during the short time this state lasts it is deprived of all feeling whatever, being unable to think on any subject, even if it wished. No effort is needed here to suspend the thoughts: if the soul can love it knows not how, nor whom it loves, nor what it desires. In fact, it has died entirely to this world, to live more truly than ever in God. This is a delicious death, for the soul is deprived of the faculties it exercised while in the body: 6 delicious because, (although not really the case), it seems to have left its mortal covering to abide more entirely in God. So completely does this take place, that I know not whether the body retains sufficient life to continue breathing; on consideration, I believe it does not; at any rate, if it still breathes, it does so unconsciously.

Yes, we do have passion!

Hard to see a purpose when you spend you days sitting doing nothing. I know there is one and learning patience might be the end result.....something I have very little of. lol

In quiet, you will come to know Him [and His direction for you]. But you already know that. ♥

Someone wrote me today asking why we have Elvis on our Rosary for Peace site (his song Miracle of the Rosary is displayed) http://rosaryforpeace.com, and I wrote back explaining why, and she wrote back again and tells me she is a BIG fan of Elvis, and she sent another one of his gospel songs over for me to listen to called “Without Him.” I thought of you when I read the lyrics and listened on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEqCEawCiH4 Do you know of the song? Do you like Elvis?

Correct.

Yet, reading the Scriptures has value.

Why?

Not sure where you are going with this, Arthur, but I am sure it is to convince me that Catholicism is the only way.

Which I will not be buying into, btw.

A little while ago, you were complaining that I wasn't dialoguing. Now you are breaking off dialogue because you think you know where I'm going. If that's what it takes for you to defend your opinions, so be it.

No, that is not what I said at all.

But I’ve no idea where you were going so didn’t continue.

If I am not following the discussion, I won’t be able to reply.
