Sexual totalitarianism vs. Christianity in America

A reader of one of my articles expressed the view that if we could only rid the world of the killing of the unborn (abortion), much of the surrounding evil would fall. He thinks that the devastating consequences of the homosexual agenda and other agendas like it would be eliminated, as a result of the cleansing effect the removal of abortion would have on the world. I agree fully with that reader's stance toward abortion, but the legal push to force an acceptance of sexual perversion upon an unreceptive nation is somewhat different from permitting killing of the unborn. Abortion laws do not say that one must kill the unborn, only that you can, legally.

Abortion is an act for which many, many women feel crushing guilt after experiencing it. Evil elements play a crucial role in many of the decisions to kill one's own. But there is no fiercely organized push to force abortion upon women. The law simply allows the act. The woman (or a girl's guardians) makes the decision. Thankfully, godly elements are in play that assist women to choose other options besides abortion. But abortion affects others uninvolved with the act only indirectly. It weakens our humanity.

Militant homosexual activism, as expressed by LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered) groups, on the other hand, requires that laws force an acceptance of their behavior upon other people. They have control of the leftist influences on America's judiciary, and have made large inroads into infringing upon all Americans' freedoms, particularly their Christian faith. This is a direct infringement upon the rights of everybody who opposes sexual aberrance because God requires that we oppose it.

Just a pecking party of feminazi hens who call Sarah Palin a lousy parent for giving birth to a special needs child and for having a daughter who became pregnant out of wedlock. But no, it's not like they were jumping up and down angry at them for having these babies. Oh wait, they were.

I fear for my son in the officers' program in the Marines, where he will undoubtedly be told he has to approve, even celebrate open homosexuality among the troops.

Very spiritually perilous to be in the U.S. military. I mean pervasively, penetratingly corrupt.

I would advise all Christians today to stay out of today’s military. Sadly, that’s exactly what Chairman Maobama and his fellow travelers want.

The degradation of sexuality to only physical pleasure is the root of all sexual sin. Abortion is the ultimate symbol of perversity and the penultimate sacrament of the left; a celebration of death. Not only do they deny the purpose of sex as designed by God, but they kill babies to prove that nothing matters beyond themselves.

The act of conception is the only time that we truly take part in God’s creation of life, hence the term: procreation. It is surrender to a sovereign God whom we trust to provide for our children. Truth and life are interlinked and we can only pretend to be the masters of either.

While I agree with the writer’s analysis, the thing I am struggling with is how do Christians respond? Do we fight back, or do we (figuratively, but perhaps literally) let ourselves be fed to the lions, as the early Christians were. I have a feeling we are headed for an age of heavy-duty persecution by a nation that unfortunately has abandoned God and is becoming increasingly evil.

I think the point of no return was reached when the Democrats rejected God on national TV at their convention—rejecting Him 3 times no less in a symbolism that had to be obvious to Christians. Now, certainly our local Democrat Party is controlled by homosexual money and influence, and I would suspect the homosexual influence is at least at great at the national level.

Pray and brace for the worst. We live in Nero’s Rome.

The way they violently screamed “NO!!!!” 3 times makes it clear where they stand. How any discerning Christian could vote Democrat after that is beyond me. Sadly, the GOP seems in a rush to be just as bad.

Just wait till we’re up against a force we can’t beat, and really see our dead amongst it.

But will it then be too late for us?

8 Just wait till we’re up against a force we can’t beat, and really see our dead amongst it. But will it then be too late for us?

1874–1965 - Winston Churchill

“Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”
