How long is long enough? 6 years, 10 years, 100 years. There is a reason for statutes of limitation. Memories fade, witnesses die or become senile, evidence vanishes, etc. Reasonable people can disagree over the proper time.

Don’t know about MN, but here in CA, there has been a move on to do away with statutes of limitations on child sexual abuse that only apply to religious and private institutions. The public schools were exempt.

When the Catholic Church pushed to have ALL childhood sexual abuse statutes of limitations lifted, the public schools made sure that the bills were killed. It never was about protecting the children. It was about going after the Catholic Church.

I don’t have an “about” page AND I don’t scour the Internet on a daily basis looking for negative articles about other religions!

I don,t know what the time limitation should be but a thirty year old suing for something that happened at twelve is ridicules, just a money scheme.

Also it seems to be stupid to put kids in such a position where this kind of thing could happen anyway, providing they are really kids.

It was about going after the Catholic Church.

That is right.
