the Pope...the man whose actual job description is to speak for Jesus.

Only when he speaks of faith and morals.

When he speaks of government and economics he is only speaking for himself.

I don’t think Jesus taught much about the government and when he did, it wasn’t kindly. The pope is just another bishop, head bishop, but just another one amongst many.In the churches long history, some popes were not too good. Talked with a priest about some when I was taking my lessons (prively) to become catholic. I love the fact that he didn’t use his treasury for taxes, he got the money from a fish. :O)

Actually, some of the Cardinals and Bishops do a good of that for him, as in, "Americans, you're selfish because you don't let in all the world's losers."
