As above, the Bible clearly provides for no changes to be made, yet the Left has the audacity nonetheless to foist their disrespectful and sometimes incredibly lewd attempts at corrupting the faithful.

"Gay Marriage" isn't really about equal rights for gays, its about creating a legal framework where mainline Christianity can legally be redefined as a "Hate Group" like Neo Nazis and the KKK and then their 1st Amendment rights revoked.
Its about forcing churches to hold gay weddings (and eventually lose their tax exempt status for preaching the Gospel), its about forcing Christian photographers, singers, cake bakers and florists to endorse something their religion says is sin by using their talents to support the ceremony or forever give up their right to make a living.
Like all progressive causes, its about balkanizing our society into thousands of easily controlled sub-groups that can be pitted against one another at a moments notice for THEIR political gain.

My experience is with the bread and butter issues, Rick Warren toes the biblical line when being confronted by the popular media. It’s in other venues and on other issues when he can get a bit slippery.
If Christians “evolve” away from Christianity, then they aren’t Christians anymore. You can’t evolve standards, you can only leave them behind. Kinda like we’ve left the Constitution behind.
There are some things to which compromise doesn’t apply.
