What I said was if a tradition or practice CONTRADICTS the Bible, the tradition or practice should not stand.

And yet you have failed to produce a contradiction... only an absence.

The overwhelming sense of Scripture is that prayers are directed to God in Heaven.

Yet catholics have chosen to pray also to other entities in Heaven. That's a contradiction in my view.
