A big difference being that abortion and the gay agenda were not part of the Democrat party’s platform at that point in time. Besides, I didn’t take the “liberal” comment to mean the Catholic vote.
The Catholic vote is liberal, that is why the left wants to import millions more, the democrat party counts on winning the Catholic voter, and they are correct to do so.
