Without the self-control, one can spend their money on all kinds of fantasies and even cause their own death. Look at what happened to Michael Jackson. The anaesthetic, propofol, was taken to cause wild sexual hallucinations. The doctor who administered it, lost track of time and did not take out the IV in time.
In fairness to Jacko, at least he wasn’t a Megachurch pastor.
