Money, Fame, Hollywood and Antichrist vs. Christianity with Duck Dynasty

Phil Robertson and his family in Duck Dynasty made big money for their producers, A & E. With the cutting out of Phil for his Christian belief, his family had decided to stop acting in the show too. Here again is what he said, paraphrasing Paul's letter to the Corinthians: "'Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers,' they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right."

The family defended Robertson’s comments and stressed that they are a "family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word." Fox News

Now the network is going to have to figure out what to do. Are they going to stop Duck Dynasty in support of the homosexuals or make the money? Money is a powerful instrument.

This is nothing new. Catholic Christian values are hated even more than the Bible-believing Christians. It is just becoming more out in the open. Many businesses that practice Christian morals, are being boycotted or sued and put out of business. Doesn't this sound a lot like Revelation 13:17 where, if you do not go along with the antichrist, you can neither sell nor buy.

Phil did something they fear MOST of all. He stripped away all the rainbows, the drama, the wedding cakes lawsuits, and everything they are, and distilled in into its 100% truthful essence. He didn’t do it with a word of meanness, but only care for their souls.

Lady parts, or an Anus. In a sentence, he pointed out that it all centers down on their preference to do things to an anus.

That one bare truth caused them to freak out, because it is inescapable.

A&E had to know that this situation would arise one day. I'm sure that they're eating it up with all the faux shock and dismay they can muster.

And they're still going ahead with a big marathon. If they had the courage of their own supposed convictions, they'd cancel the show now. But no way would they do that to a money-maker. At least until they can find another family to build a show around that they'll throw over one day.

Yes! And we all know what happened to Jesus for speaking the Truth. Major "freak out." I hope another network picks up Duck Dynasty eventually, because we've yet to watch an episode. Now we're intrigued as to what the show was all about.

I believe these values are one and the same. Yes, there are thological differences between Catholics and Protestants but their "values" and ethical foundation are identical and are found in scripture. When the world attacks one they are attacking the other. And both should be united against a godless world in this regard.
