Often times YOU MUST take the battle to the enemy in order to FIGHT the ENEMY direct in order to be victorious in the eyes of God.
I understand what you are saying, BG, but those who do, must be Sacramented fully, or they will be dinged by Satan. Case in point. I
used to fight on the front lines thinking I was doing some sort of good, but when my husband (who joined me once) asked where there was Mass that day (prior to marching), I could not find one (none of the times worked out), and I was actually a little miffed with him (hmmm, Satan begins his attack?) that he felt it so important because we go to daily Mass all year around, so what harm could it do missing a few each year for Saturday marches instead? Well.................... you see, the devil took Jesus out of the mix with me right there (as he no doubt howled and roared)....
IF all points are taken with Jesus first, however (I imagine it as a baseball diamond), one can hit a home run for life:
- Be of a faith that supplies you with the Living Bread, or battle differently, away from the doors of an abortuary.
- Make sure you receive Him frequently, and don't miss the day of the march. Make sure you've been to Adoration/before the Blessed Sacrament at some point in time for an hour before the march.
- Make sure you're holding/reciting the rosary, wearing a scapular and miraculous medal, etc.
- Then and only then, in my opinion, should anyone take their fight to the front lines. No soldier would ever consider doing battle in pajamas and slippers.
But ultimately, I think the
front lines in the abortion battle are better served by spiritually-strong priests (who are carrying the Eucharist).

In other words, for example, for the next 40 days for life prayer gatherings, have BOTH special day of adoration prayers and another group trip to a local abortion clinic.

Spiritual safety in numbers would include not only the priests you have mentioned, but also consecrated religious, deacons, and prepared lay people.

Is everyone sure the “abomination of desolation standing where it ought not” in Daniel refers to the Temple in Jerusalem?

Don’t be ridiculous. Pro-lifers outside abortion mills have saved many lives.

Yes, I agree with you, especially when a priest is already there with the Eucharist. But, again, ultimately, this is a job for [good] priests IMO. Exorcists would be great! Unfortunately, I have known the devil up close and personal, and he's no one to mess with. But again, this is
just my opinion.

I don't think I'm being ridiculous.
I know [personally] a couple former pro-life frontliners who have fallen to Satan (they say it happened through their close contact with PP), and they admit that they have been diagnosed possessed. Save the babies in the Adoration Chapels (and end abortion altogether; see my tagline)! Let the priests (with Jesus) walk the front lines. Again, just my opinion. But personally I won't march in front of a PP again. The last time I was there (years ago), I "literally" felt darkness.

There is even a video, you can google it, but a thread with this has been deleted as “inappropriate for this site”.

Just so you don't think I'm a curmudgeon, I do indeed work day and night for pro-life, through the Sacraments (and sacramentals) of the Catholic Church. Also (although there are others who do similar), we are the only ones I know of in this area who build a stovetop grotto every year for Christmas (and beyond). We keep it burning all Christmas Day. Who knows how many lives were saved?
Mother Teresa once said, "If people spent an hour a week in Eucharistic Adoration, abortion would be ended." I believe her, as she already has an accurate track record regarding abortion
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXn-wf5ylgo so I attend Adoration over marching "anywhere." Do others (
in bulk) believe her? If so, where are they? Too busy marching in front of PPs? Do they feel they are stronger than Christ?
Her good friend, Fr. John A. Hardon said, "#1 There is no stopping abortion without an ocean of grace from Jesus Christ.
No way will human means stop abortion. #2 The principal source of this grace is the Holy Eucharist" [emphasis, mine]. I believe him, too. JESUS has the ANSWER to the end of abortion!
