Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven,
Magnified, Sanctified,
and Hallowed Be Your Most Holy and Glorious Name!
You Are So Holy and Worthy of Praise and Worship,
we are Overwhelmed by Your Glory!
It is You Who Have Made The Earth and All it Contains,
from the tiniest of Creatures,
to the Greatest of the Mountains,
Forests and Deserts.
It is You Who Command the Motion of the Stars,
The Galaxies,
and the Great Singularities of Time and Space,
And it is You Who Create new Life in the Secret Place of a Mother's Womb!
Oh, Father, You Are So Wonderful,
So Glorious,
So Magnificent,
And Mere Words Don't even Tell The Story of Your Awesome Splendor!

Thank You Father,
for Your Word to Zerubbabel the Master Builder!
For we know that, although You gave him a specific task,
Your WORD is Eternal and Applicable to us In This Day.
We are to approach ALL tasks in life,
"Not By Might, Not By Power, but By Your Spirit".
We Pray THIS for Our Brothers and Sisters in Israel as well.
Zerubbabel's task was to rebuild Your Temple after 70 years of exile in Babylon and Persia.
Our Prayer is That You Will Protect
and Defend Your People from the evil that Surrounds Them.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

There are many differences of Opinion on the identity of the two Lampstands, Olive Trees, and "Anointed Ones" Mentioned in this Marvelous Chapter.

Some say that Zechariah is talking about Zerubbabel and Ezra, and the prophecy is over and done with already.

Some say similar things but it's Ezra and Nehemiah, two Anointed Witnesses who wrote separate Books in the Bible about the same event, the rebuilding of the Temple. OK. Plausible.

Some say it is the Two Witnesses mentioned in the Revelation of St. John. This would indicate DUAL Fulfillment. A common thing amongst the Great Hebrew Prophets, a Near Fulfillment, and a Messianic, End of Days Fulfillment, BUT we are STILL talking about TWO MEN.

Then there is another Interpretation. That the Two Witnesses to God in the Latter Days will be the LAST People who Believe in the God of Abraham. The Church and Israel. Indeed, in these troubled times, The Church (Believers in Jesus Worldwide) and Israel are the most maligned and persecuted groups on the planet. They are, indeed, two "Witnesses" for the God of Abraham. Also, the image of the two olive trees sending, through golden pipes, oil to light the Lampstand (The Symbol of the modern State of Israel) seems significant, as oil is symbolic of Nurturing, sustenance, light, warmth, and support. For centuries, this image from Zechariah has decorated Synagogues, Manuscripts, and Various Pieces of Jewish Art all over the world. In my humble opinion, may I suggest that this Prophetic Image is being acted out in the Present Day?

Come and pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
