2nd Employee at Catholic School Plans Same-Sex Marriage; School CEO Says She is Welcome to Stay

A part-time employee of a Seattle-area Catholic school has announced that she is planning a same-sex wedding in August – and the school’s president and CEO says that she is “welcome” to stay, according to a local media report.

In December, Mark Zmuda, the vice principal at Eastside Catholic School, was dismissed after his summer same-sex wedding became a matter of public knowledge. A local newspaper reported that the dismissal followed a conversation between Archbishop J. Peter Sartain and the school’s president and CEO, Sister Mary Tracy. The vice principal’s dismissal led 400 of the school’s students to protest.

On January 7, Stephanie Merrow, a part-time drama coach at the school, announced that she will wed another woman in the summer and said that she feared for her job.

““I’m doing this to support the kids, and what the kids are trying to do is get to the Pope and change the Church,” said Merrow, according to a KING-TV report.

Scripture says that wives are to submit to their husbands just as the Church submits to Christ. The capital-c Church (the invisible, true church) submits to Christ, but there’s a lot of lower-case-c “church” (the visible church, which includes those who may or may not be Christian) that doesn’t even grasp the CONCEPT of submitting to Christ. They apparently think God squishes around according to what the latest polls say.

I remember somebody saying that Abraham Lincoln, when asked whether God was on his side, said the better and more important question for him is whether he is on God’s side.

Corrupt religion is one of the beasts of Revelation, working with corrupt government - both in service to the dragon who is Satan.

"My guess is gays are infiltrating these organizations with the intent of causing mayhem."

It worked with the priesthood leading up to V II.

After that point enough of the "Protestant in all but name" priests realized just how many of their ranks had been promoted to Bishop when such Bishops began to work openly rather than quietly toward compromising the Truth, that priests who had been intent on "recreating" the Church left in droves knowing that the recreation would go on with or without their personal dedication to the task.

As the priests who felt their mission was accomplished left, priests who want didn't go along to get along ended up under the authority of the infiltrators who had been elevated. So, a significant number of priests who weren't part of the group trying to build a separate American Church left as well rather than face who knew how long being penalized for sticking to their guns.

Any school that gives in to the queer agenda will always have at least one or two queers infiltrating the ranks so as to be sure the school will end up in court if they ever try put the rules back in place. Precedent will have been set and short of an amazing, no, a miraculous, change in the American legal system rules against perversion will never be reestablished anywhere they're once ignored.

A think the parents need to circulate a petition to have that employee also leave and not influence their children.

What hypocrisy!

If the nun is allowed to stay, that tells us everything we need to know about your religion on this issue...

Time for Archbishop Sartain to show her what being a Catholic (if she is Catholic) is all about. The archbishop is a by-the-book Catholic. This teacher needs to start cleaning out her desk. If she signed a contract with the school that said he would abide by their standards she is history.

More importantly, in my mind, is to ask the question: are Catholic schools required to hire Catholic teachers? If not, what’s to stop an atheist from preaching anti-Christianity to Catholic students?

This nun is certainly not like the nuns that taught me in Catholic grade school and high school. They were strict and followed Catholic doctrine admirably. Sister Caroline did not put up with any crap; neither did Sister Renae and Sister Victoria.

“According to a student, Sister Tracy said that “I look forward to the day where no individual loses their job because they married a person of the same sex”.

If the above statement is true, this leftist Obama-supporting nun is not fit to be around children, much less be president of a Catholic school. Sartin needs to help her pack her bags.

“Support our faith, except for the parts you happen to personally disagree with.”

Almost every Catholic I've ever known simply disregarded whatever parts of Catholicism they disagreed with. They're called "cafeteria Catholics."

Things have sure changed. Dem Hunkies and Wops I grew up around were very conscientious and their kids whined about it constantly because they felt like they were missing out on what kids in public school were up to.

I guess the whiners (aka Baby Boomers) are the folks you've known, all grown up and doing their own thing ever since getting laid in return for burning their draft cards.
